How we handle information you share through this informational website.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Rankine&Brayton Technical Solutions LLC ("we", "our") handles information in connection with rankinebrayton.solutions (the "site") and related business correspondence. The site is informational; we do not host user accounts and do not sell products through the site.
This page is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to share with us. In practice this is limited to:
- Contact form details. When you use the consultation request form, the details you enter (your name, company, email address, phone number, project phase and message) are sent as text through our secure form service to our team's business email. The form does not accept file uploads, and we do not send automatic confirmation emails; a reference number is shown on screen instead.
- Business correspondence. If we correspond by email, phone or LinkedIn after your first request, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, company and the nature of your inquiry.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may log standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp) for operational and security purposes. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and discuss potential or ongoing projects.
- To deliver, manage and document the solutions we have been asked to provide.
- To maintain business records, comply with applicable obligations and protect the security of our communications and infrastructure.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We may share limited information with:
- Service providers that help us operate our business, such as our email and hosting providers, who are expected to handle information confidentially and use it only as needed to provide their services to us.
- Clients or project partners where this is part of a project you or your organization has asked us to support.
- Authorities where we are required to do so by law or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Retention
We keep inquiry and project-related information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including responding to follow-up questions and keeping appropriate business records. We periodically review and delete information we no longer need.
Security
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect information we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Sending the contact form is voluntary. Please share only the information needed for a first call.
- You can use our contact form to ask us to update or delete information you have shared with us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
- This site does not use cookies or local storage. See our Cookie Policy for details.
International visitors
We work with clients across multiple regions. If you contact us from outside the country where our email and hosting providers store information, your information may be processed in another country. We aim to apply consistent care to information regardless of where it is processed.
Children
This site is directed at business audiences and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
